Like all the advice you’ll find in our logo design tip features, there are exceptions to every “rule.” One of those is that your logo doesn’t have to expressly illustrate what your company does. That’s true. But sometimes is can. Like this logo for Orphic Rez, a sound production and music engineering company. The icon portion of the design features an iconized head – stripped down to two circles, its bare essentials – and a graphic treatment of simplified earphones. The design has two variants, the secondary version shown here. Also featured is a text only logo proposal that never saw the light of day, but a pretty decent design in its own right.
Type Of Project:
Logo for a sound production and music engineering studio. Even though the design is extremely simple, there’s no doubt about what it represents.
