Animation project: Hoodywood Records
This animation is quite complex and features several different scenes. The logo introduction and build up of the skyline is to “stall” the movie and allow the more download intensive sequences to load. The rotating stars were built in Swift 3D as an entirely different timeline and stitched into the Flash timeline using masks to give them the appearance of rotating behind the figure. The movie doesn’t loop in its entirety but only back to the introduction of the stars (to view the entire movie again, you’ll have to refresh the page.)
This is a vector based animation and as such can be scaled to full-screen width without any resolution issues. The original presentation featured a sound loop from one of Hoodywood‘s artists, but it has been disabled here.
Like all the animations in our theater, this example has been converted to HTML5 for responsive playback on Flash-restricted smartphones and tablets.
