Animation project: Putters Wild
Taking a logo and turning it into a decent little animation means breaking it apart into all its bits and pieces (creating symbols of each) and adding them to various layers in the animation timeline. These objects can then be animated using ‘tweening’ – a technique that allows transitioning from one state to another and can incorporate fading, movement, scaling and rotation to name a few options.
The animation for Putters Wild required a large number of symbol objects, as well as the central character to be re-rendered into a full version (the fish is truncated in the original logo.) This movie is presented here as responsive HTML5 format for playback on Flash-restricted iPhones and iPads.
All animations & movies presented in our portfolio are not for sale or license.
