For this project, our designers stayed away from the typical medical symbols such as the caduceus (twin snakes wrapped around a staff,) red crosses and the like. Instead, we came up with an abstract icon and utilized a muted, sensitive color scheme. Beauty shot featuring the design is pictured below.
Gradients in logos.
Many designers will opine that you absolutely shouldn’t use gradients (or blends) in your logo. We don’t find that to be as absolute as most – there are times when a shaded logo is quite acceptable and effective. As long as the logo can be translated to solid colors – for times where gradients are not available – there’s no real issue. Black and white halftone and monochromatic version shown.
Type Of Project:
Logo design and beauty shot for a medical supplies manufacturer and distributor.
