While the designers at our studio are well known for complex and illustrative work, they’re more than capable of developing simple logos, and even extremely pared down designs like this text logo for an interactive game developer and software publisher. This project was actually a rework of the company’s earlier logo which featured a check mark, and this element was ‘rolled’ into the new design, and while the check mark may not be noticeable at first (the right side of the ‘V’,) it’s a fitting homage to the earlier mark. This design features two typographic styles – an ‘off-the-shelf’ font for the ‘interactive’ strapline, and a customized font based on bits and pieces of a commercial set. In keeping with the simple nature of the design, the color scheme is two color, though the logo is more than capable of being used as a black and white version on low resolution media (FAXes, checks and other office correspondence.)
