This project came to us as a result of this one for The Steve Dahl Radio Show, so it’s no real surprise we ended up with a similarly rendered character design. The concept behind Mojo Mama’s was that of a mysterious, spectral, yet friendly, witch-like character who lived in the woods “serving up tasty brews.” The logo was to incorporate a “rustic” nature, and the central character was to be “attractive” without being too provocative or risque. This was, after all, a “family run” enterprise.
Nailed it we think.
Even though the logo is more an illustration than not, it still needs to work on branded business essentials. Here’s a look at the letterhead and business card designs and layouts. Used to be that full color printing was cost prohibitive over spot color work. In many instances, that’s been inverted. Full color work is “gang run” with other work, so you may pay a premium for the color accuracy of spot color. See here for more on printing things with your logo on them.
