 If you only have access to low-resolution bitmaps of your logo, you’ll need to have digital files created before you can reproduce anything. To be prepared for every kind of reproduction, your logo needs to be carefully cleaned up and converted into, at a minimum .EPS, .GIF and .JPG formats. In order to convert your logo to all the correct formats, our logo designers first have to convert your logo into a Vector based format. This is done by literally tracing the outlines of each shape using a professional Vector based drawing programme. This is a fairly time consuming process and requires a highly skilled designer. We can use a Autotrace programme such as Adobe Streamline, but this requires a very high resolution image, and even then, requires time consuming editing to remove excess bumps, wiggles and points and to separate the logo into it's various components.

Getting Started: In order to begin a Basic Logo Repair project, we requires the submission of your low-resolution logo files. File type is unimportant, as we can generally convert almost any file, be they in Windows or Apple formats. Once you've submitted a Basic Logo Repair project, we'll redirect you to our new client area, where you can upload your files straight from your computer to our web site. You can also send file via your e-mail account.
A Basic Logo Repair Package includes the creation of your logo design and delivery of a Basic File Format bundle. You'll end up with access to all the digital files you require, including the formats that you can use for all your advertising and marketing, your web site and other electronic media. Included are:
 EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) files: The Vector based source files of any design by The Logo Factory. This is a editable and scalable version of your new logo from which anyone can create all other formats and image types. This file is generally the format used by quality printers. For colour matching accuracy of spot colour logos, we use the Pantone Matching System (PMS). For print colour reference, Pantone colour Guides are available at better local printers. Resolution: Unlimited.
 JPG files: - Industry standard for the distribution of high-quality images, while still remaining small enough in file size for bandwidth and download speed concerns. Can be either CMYK or RGB. Supplied in multiple resolutions - 300 DPI (print production and/or special FX) to 72 DPI (web site and other electronic reproduction). Resolution: Varied. 300 dpi (PX) Print, 72 dpi (PX) for electronic.
GIF Files: - These relatively low resolution files (72 DPI) are almost exclusively for web site usage. A .GIF image can feature transparent backgrounds for use on different colour web pages. If your logo colours and/or treatment cannot be rendered accurately using the limited colour palette of the .GIF format, your designer will supply .JPG alternatives. Resolution: 72 dpi (PX).

Our Stationery Design Package includes design proposals, revisions and final file formats - everything you'll need to print professional and eye-catching business material. Basic Logo Repair PLUS Logo & Stationery Package - $295.00 total. Please note - Stationery Design will be commenced once logo is repaired and finalized. Delivery of Stationery Design preliminary designs is according to our standard Stationery Design Package & Pricing. Stationery Design packages are delivered in print ready .eps format impositions. Purchase of our Logo Repair Plus feature is available as an ordering option and payment option when you submit your logo repair project. Terms and conditions specific to Logo Repair Packages:
1) Our Logo Repair Packages only include clean-up, rendering and formatting and do not include any design, preliminary design work or concepts. For a logo project requiring any of these design steps, please see one of our custom Logo Design Packages,
2) The Logo Factory reserves the right to determine if a logo repair project qualifies for either a Basic or Complex repair. For assistance on your particular project, please contact our client support. Too, The Logo Factory reserves the right to refuse any logo repair project if the source material (files, sketches and/or digital images) are not developed or rendered to a point that allows us to work from the submitted material. Once a Basic Logo Repair project has been initiated by client though submission of the appropriate order forms, all monies paid for said project become non-refundable unless;
2 a) if, before any design work has been initiated, The Logo Factory determines that project submitted does not qualify for a Logo Repair project, the client, at their option, may submit a new Custom Logo Design project. Such submittal will be treated as a new project and can be submitted in conjunction with an adjustment of pricing, appropriate terms and conditions.
3) Before engaging The Logo Factory for our logo repair services, you must warrant that you have the rights to the artwork being repaired, and that use of such work, to the best of your knowledge, does not infringe on the copyright of others. As the original artwork is supplied by the client, The Logo Factory does not claim, nor can we transfer, copyright of same for any artwork created during the performance of Logo Repair services. The Logo Factory reserves the right to refuse any logo repair project if we believe that said project infringes on the Copyright and/or Trademarks of other parties. *Turnaround on design revisions is approximate and based on complexity of Logo Repair. The Stationery Design portion of any PLUS packages (stationery included) is delivered according to our standard Stationery Design Package turnaround schedules. Any Stationery Design concepts, layouts or presentations cannot be initiated until project logo has been approved by client.
