Photography Logos - Photo Studio & Photographer logo design examples.
The 'photography' theme for logos covers a wide number of specialties. Fashion, sports, bridal photographers. How about product, food and glamor photography. Digital photography. Analog photography. Transfer to DVD and CD. The explosion of digital photographer equipment, and the relatively inexpensive methods of processing (and manipulating images through software packages such as Photoshop) has created an series of entire new industries surrounding the art of photography. And like any other business, a photography studio needs a brand or corporate identity upon which to concentrate their marketing designs. Photographers tend to be a creative bunch, which begs the question - why would a photographer hire a design firm like The Logo Factory to create their business logo? Wouldn't the photo studio prefer to do it themselves? Probably not. Photography and graphic design are polarized areas of the creative fields. And brand development is even a more specialized area of the graphic arts. And truth to tell, creative people often have problems designing work for themselves (the constant refrain is that they 'are too close to be objective').
Discovering new angles for photography logos - remaining unique & timeless
Corporate logos for photography studios often contain camera imagery (cliché, but often the only thing prospective clients will recognize) but with the ever-widening, and overlapping photographic specialties, there's always new angles on photography studio designs to be explored. See Sail Bay Photography Gallery, My Video on DVD, Diamond Photo and Frameworks Studio for more topical examples (above).
