Creating a great logo design for a home construction company is appreciably more difficult than for a real estate agency or even a construction contractor. The logo for a home construction company has to appeal to home owners (who will purchase the end product) while still exuding an image that is appropriate for a 'tough guy' builder industry. You'll never (or at least you should never) see a construction company logo in pastel colors - any construction project is by its nature industrial, and this has to be understood, if only on a subliminal level. Home construction and home builder company logos need to be bold, and created in general, sweeping gestures, while still remaining 'pretty' enough to appeal to the average home buyer.
