Software publishing used to be the exclusive domain of the larger companies. No longer. With the advent of economical software tools, distribution channels (especially the web) software developers are now as numerous as they are varied. Most development is towards business software - be it web based or off-the-shelf, as developers rush to create the latest timesaving or organizational business software solution. Over the years we have been fortunate to design quite a few logos for business software companies, as well as the products they create. These logos are used on everything from business software packaging to stationery design and always represent a nice design project. A business software logo design can be more radical than most business logos, as the buzzwords involved generally include - "cutting edge", "state-of-the-art", "professional yet not boring". This gives our designers more creative leeway, yet they are experienced enough to realize that this is STILL a business market, so some restraint is called for.
