Truck Logo - Australian Truck & Bus Care Mechanics.
Behind the Design Scenes: When we launched The Logo Factory online in 1996 (see our studio history for details) we had no idea that we'd be working with clients from all over the world. However, as the years rolled by, our staff found themselves working with new businesses and companies from the four corners of the globe. Case in point - the Australian Truck and Bus Care brand development project from, funny enough, Australia. Our designers wanted to portray a sense of the wide spaces of the Australian outback (the concept of the company was that they traveled to the location of the broken down truck or bus) as well as give an indication that this was in fact a brand for a mechanic service outfit. The truck is fairly high detail as the logo was to be used in large format - trucks and billboards were among the planned usages. While a small logo can get away with lackluster detail, a large one won't. It takes a skilled designer to create a detailed illustrative icon as part of a creative workup - not a problem for TLF staff all of whom are accomplished illustrators.
