House logo - Powers Construction & Custom Homes.
Behind the Design Scenes: Construction companies often want to feature heavy equipment as components in their logos. Others, particularly home builders, wish to avoid this kind of imagery, opting for a more elegant and conservative approach. Powers Custom Homes was such a client. We had already developed an tractor based logo for their industrial construction division, and were tasked to develop a more retail friendly version for their housing construction arm. To that end our designers come up with this graphic - an upscale house combined with a simple logo font treatment. Despite the logos apparent complexity, its flat colors make it relatively easy to reproduce on most mediums
