Travel logo - Bonus Bucks Boarding Pass Cruise Promotion.

Behind the Design Scenes: One of our fave logos from our old site, the Bonus Bucks logo was created back in 1995 (in concert with our old friends at Crunch Inc Communication). Accordingly, who could have foreseen that the design would become dated due to the grounding of the once famous Concorde. Ah well. As luck would have it, this logo was used for a short-term premium incentive program for ICI paints (dealers could received Bonus Bucks travel points when purchasing paints) so the shelf life was relatively short and unaffected by the demise of the famous airplane. Designing this logo was actually kind of fun - ICI is a famous paint company, and their logos and marketing always revolved around color. Lots and lots of color. As the logo was to be used primarily in full color travel marketing and advertising pieces, we were able to throw the kitchen sink at it (this probably represents the most colorful logo on our site). The plane and boat were designed without photo reference (we couldn't find any examples at the correct angles so we had to 'wing it'). The logo font - Anna - is an off-the-shelf variety with a few customizations (the addition of the dollar sign). The 'boarding pass' typography may look familiar and it should. It's the font that The Logo Factory uses as our famous corporate logo.
