Hand logo - Palmability PDA Software.
Behind the Design Scenes: Palmability is an example of a logo that's simplicity disguises it's sophistication. Originally, the client wanted to brand their company with a reference to Palm hand helds - a compnent of their business - but the Palm corporate logo is a registered trademark and the licensing of same is difficult and expensive. As an alternative, our designers came up with the iconic logo featured above - a simple text treatment featuring an iconic 'P' with an abstract hand design (palm - get it?). This logo is at home in both BW and full color environments (having originally been designed in a black and white format - generally a good idea for preliminary sketches and concepts). When it comes to branding your firm, this logo proves that simplicity is sometimes a very elegant avenue.
