Behind the Design Scenes: This simple hi-tech logo is one of the favorites in our logo gallery and is a perfect example of an iconic logo treatment (as opposed to text, graphical or illustrative). A simple two color color scheme (the gray is actually a screen of black and NOT an additional color (see our file format pages for more information on using screens to 'cheat' multiple colors without the expense). The icon for Datelvision tells an obvious story - information coming it, and out, of a central hub (representing the company's networking activities quite well). The font treatment is a simple one - once the logo is established, the plan is to drop the text portion completely and use the icon as a stand alone. This icon is one of the most 'borrowed' logos around - see our copycats section for more information on people being 'inspired' by The Logo Factory design team's work.
