Behind the Design Scenes: Mayka Cuddly was a fairly new concept when we were first approached by the client. Mayka Cuddly was developed as a character for a (then) new type of toy company - a chain of stores where children could design, build and stuff their own cuddly toys. Obviously, the logo was to appeal to children, but also needed to appeal to the adults who would be accompanying them to parties and other store activities. Like most toy company designs featured in or logo gallery, Mayka Cuddly boast saturated colors, ease of legibility and a friendly character. The Logo Factory also designed retail store layouts and signage as well as the initial marketing material sent to potential investors.
