Phone logos - IX Phone VOIP Communication.

Behind the Design Scenes: IX phone translates into Inter Branch Broadband Extension Phone - a cost effective service, which offers toll quality voice over the existing IP network. These days, similar services are quite common (Skype for example) but when we originally designed this logo, IX phone was still in the planning stages and required, as most new business ventures do - a new logo treatment. The client wanted to combine visual references to a telephone (the yellow iconic treatment of a phone mouthpiece in the background) along with the idea of moving data over the Internet (the ball and pixelization effect). Once the various elements had been conceptualized, it was a matter of combining the elements, along with the text, in an interesting manner. This logo is an example of how almost 'cliche' approaches can still be fairly effective if handled by an experienced designer.
