Kickback Coupons business model was simple - allow companies to advertise their services by distributing discount coupons through mailers, brochure designs and via the company's website. What started as a simple icon, featuring a pair of scissors (the easy answer) evolved into a character that would become the company's mascot design. The character became an integral part of Kickback's small business marketing identity and was featured extensively on everything from the company's letterhead and stationery design, to their website, and of course, mailers and coupons.
