How we create a logo - Nu Soil Landscaping & Lawn Care.

The Nu-Soil logo is another perennial favorite in our gallery of corporate logo design examples. What makes Nu-Soil a little different is that it is also the name of the product being offered. Billed as a 'soil conditioner solution' Nu-Soil was created to 'promote plant and root growth' when used as 'part of a gardening or lawn care program'. The logo was to be reproduced on the product bottle, packaging and on their stationery and letterhead design. When we were tasked to create a logo for this particular client, the only caveat was an easy one to follow - the arwork had to feature the color green. Fair enough. Green represents go, growth, new. So, our designers went to work, and created the brand artwork you see featured here. As it turns out, what looks like an abstract icon, isn't really that abstract after all. In fact, the design ended up illustrating exactly what the product does. The Nu-Soil mark is one of those projects that just 'works'. Okay, next...

Inset Logo 2: Florida Swamp Land - It's a joke, right? No actually, it's not. Florida Swampland is a Real Estate firm that brokers deals on reclaimable land and decided to have some fun with both their company name, and their new brand (remember the saying - 'if you believe that, well I have some swampland in Florida I can sell you..." Well, here they are.). In a world sometimes packed with stuff-shirts, it's nice to create a logo for a company that doesn't take themselves so seriously.
