Inset Logo 1 - Sinister Muse Record Label - an innovative independent record label based in Chicago, Illinois. The client wanted to play off the ’sinister’ and ‘muse’ theme of their company name. Originally, the Sinister Muse logo was to have a Chicago ‘theme’ but that was discarded through the design process. While a little ‘risque’ for traditional corporate brand, the sultry figure seemed perfect for a record label dealing with non-mainstream genres.

Inset Logo 2 - Beaten by Nuns. Rock names and images are supposed to break all the rules both in terms of naming and supporting visuals. Case in point - Beaten by Nuns, an alternative music band from Philadelphia. The name itself is an attention-grabber. For the graphic support of such a grim subject, our designers came up with stern nun, gothic text with the starkness of BW, high contrast graphics completing the image. Designed as a linear black and white design, this logo is made up of solid blacks and devoid of half-tones (screens) or greys.
