Chiropractic logos & medical images - Allergy Police (Healths & Fitness).
This company describes themselves as being in the "Allergy Remediation" and their service consists of "going into homes and offices and removing allergens in order to provide relief to the occupants." The company were looking for a design that could be humorous, but being in the health and fitness industry wanted to display a theme of reliability and professionalism. In initial brainstorming sessions, the company was to be called The Dust Detectives, but their logo design tagline "We Arrest Your Allergens!" was deemed to require a more appropriate moniker. The name was changed to The Allergy Police and an entire new work-up on the logo was called for. To drive the new point home, our designers created a logo that is based on an 1920's police shield, complete with an illustration (accurate) of a grain of pollen. The logo was created for the usual business identity material, letterhead design as well as vinyl graphics for the company's vehicles.
Inset Logo A - Shippy Chiropractic (Health Medical). The wellness and health awareness field is a multi-billion dollar, ever-growing industry, and requires a constant stream of new practitioners, all of whom will need logo design assistance at one time or another. Case in point - Shippy Chiropractic logo design - a logo that remains one of the TLF staff logo designers favorites. A lesson in design minimalism, Shippy Chiropractic features an alarmingly simple graphic of a human spine, with red accent arrows to indicate pain. The design fonts were kept as to simple San-serif in order to maintain the overall graphic strength of the logo. The reverse background of the design also makes up an exclamation point, which the designer claims was planned (we think it was just a happy accident).
Inset Logo B - Walton Chiropractic Systems. Naturally, the default icon for any logo design for a chiropractor and/or related services is a human spine. It's usually what the client wants, and it's usually what will identity the service to their clients. However, there's very few things that are as unromantic (graphically speaking) as a spine, so every logo for a chiropractor was to be handled uniquely, with an eye on graphics, with as little 'woo-hoo' treatment as possible. Even though Walton Chiropractic Systems were looking for a 'progressive image', we're still dealing with the medical profession and as such a certain graphic restraint is usually called for.. (more)
