Logo Samples
The logo samples featured in this gallery are a mixed bag of iconic, illustrative and text based designs, all created by our logo designers in our 'client only' Factory Floor area. Each of the samples featured may also include a description of the design process, a look at the original client's creative brief, or some points of interest and trivia about the company itself. The samples in this gallery illustrate projects related to angels, performing arts, retail, computers, globes and microphones. You'll also find samples of real estate, construction, viking and boat logos. To view each of the logo samples in full-screen size, simply select the thumbnail images above, or scroll through the images on-by-one via the red arrow keys at top right. For more current work, check out The Daily Logo in our studio blog. View all the logo samples featured on our website by clicking on the 'View Logo Directory' button (opens new window).

Developing your own logo samples - some things to avoid.
While you may have a rough concept about how you want your company logo to eventually look like, there are some technical issues that you've probably not considered. How will your brand reproduce on a variety of media and marketing material. Is your new logo going to be reproduced, more often than not, as a billboard image, or postage-stamp sized. Is it to be used exclusively on the web, or in the less-color friendly environment of traditional print? Maybe you need a spot color design. rather than a full-blown four color process work. Too, how are you going to work with your designer during the development phase itself - as a passive overseer leaving the designing up to them, or involved deeply in the process, giving direction and suggestions throughout each step? Here's some things that you should avoid in the creative process, whether you're working with TLF or other logo design companies.
Why? At The Logo Factory we would love to tell potential clients that every graphic design project is fast, fun and easy. If often is. We'd be lying, however, if we claimed that EVERY project was. Sometimes a project will appear to go nowhere. The client and the designer can become frustrated, and sometimes a new designer, or art director intervention is required to salvage the project..
