About: Logo design for Fashion Mobile - Cellular Accessory provider, providing faceplates, leather cases, car chargers and original accessories by specific manufacture.
Logo Brief: Fashion Mobile was a 'refugee client' - someone who had tried another design house with no success, despite many frustrating weeks of preliminary design attempts. Finally, they gave up and engaged The Logo Factory to complete the project (happens more than you would think - there's a reason why some firms promise 'FREE' stuff, 'Unlimited Revisions', etc., etc. Sometimes it pays to 'shop around' and utilize the services of established professionals when in the market for a logo). The principals of Fashion Mobile didn't want a logo that featured 'globes and swooshes' (part of the problem with the first set of designs) but rather something "fun, upbeat and trendy". Something that would appeal to their 15 - 35 year old target demographic. So The Logo Factory set out to create a design that is reminiscent of 1960's memorabilia, but with a 2003 twist. The logo colors are generally reproduced as flat solids here, but a subsequent versions, with a slight bevel, was also created (inset). The beveled version was created for use in electronic media, while the flat version (large - above) was created for traditional two color reproduction.
