Logo Brief: Xcavate were planning to implement a web site with an Indiana Jones 'look and feel' to compliment the company's 'excavation' theme. Using taglines of "where no stone goes unturned" and "uncovering diamonds in the rough" Xcavate were looking for a logo design that would tie all the various elements together, be unique enough to stand out, while avoiding cliches and graphics that resembled 'clip-art'. A simple bulldozer was illustrated by TLF designers, and added to lettering that captured the essence of Indiana Jones without being a blatant rip-off. The brush stroke font, used in the tag line, added a casual element which works well with the other design elements. What could have been a troublesome project turned out a decent logo that met all the requirements of the client rather nicely.
