Client: Pilgrim's Crossing Design Category: Personal Logo About:This logo design project was a little different than most we receive, and one that has a nice back story. The only way to describe this unique project is via the client's own description (below).
Logo Brief: "Pilgrims Crossing - It's a crossroad. The name comes from an archway style sign (old west) where two fields meet in the middle of nowhere in South East Missouri. Theme - An intersection.. both for a traveler and on the Internet. I see a cross between a hitch hiker on a long vast highway (route 66), and the intersection of two fences in the middle of hay fields. It's a place where people stop and look around. Family members go there to catch up, and travelers stop by for coffee.
Company overview: At the moment this is going to be a personal page on the Internet. My crossroads.. My father once stood under the sign "Pilgrims Crossing" in the middle of a rolling hay field, and he helped me come up with this name. He passed away two years ago today, and I want to keep this name and get it on the Internet. I know this is not your normal request, but after looking at your designs I know that you can help me come up with something that represents what I'm trying to do. I'm also an instructor, and I'm going to use this page as a place for my students to meet up and share ideas. My students come from all over the world, and this will be a way to pull them all together."
