About: Logo design & letterhead for Syllogistic Resources & Consulting - a management and systems consultant specializing in hi-tech and internet company resources management.
Logo Brief: The client wanted their new logo design to portray their core values and slogan, with a sense of stability, professionalism and reliability. Syllogistic' consults with executives of mid-sized tech companies and Fortune 500 sized financial companies so they were after a logo that was both conservative, yet pushing the edge of technology. Syllogistics old press release contained this description of the company - "specializes in business and organizational development delivered through innovative problem-solving". A little long on babble-speak, a little short on substance. It was easier to find out the creative direction by undertanding what the name actually meant. Definition of Syllogism: A form of deductive reasoning consisting of a major and minor premise and a conclusion.That was closer and helped our designers create the vortex themed 'S' icon you see here.
Letterhead design - At the end of the day, the logo turned out to be a little more of the 'pushing the edge' variety, so the letterhead and business card design needed to be a little more 'conservative'. A dynamic swirling graphic, a variant of the original 'S', is featured as a card back.
