Logo Creation Brief: Foamation is a company that applies Spray Polyurethane Foam to a variety of surfaces. The most common use is the application to new residential and commercial buildings; to act as the insulation in place of traditional fiberglass. Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is an extremely efficient insulation that fills all cracks, holes and voids. Having SPF installed in a building will reduce the heating/cooling bill in half. The initial cost is higher, but that cost is recovered within 3 years because of better efficiency.

Client synopsis - "I want my logo to be everything that a creative logo is supposed to be: it will stand out, easily read, remembered and to have it convey a message that relates to the business. The only problem is that I'm not exactly sure how that should be done and that's why I'm hiring you to create one for me. I'm not really looking for an extremely flashy illustrative logo but rather one that can be easily read on advertisements and on the side of a pickup truck & 28' trailer. I'm looking to see a logo creation that can be clearly reproduced by printers for magazine, newspaper advertising and other marketing. I would also like to have a slogan that goes along with the artwork, but that I have the option to remove it for certain applications. This is a new industry in my area and no one really knows much about this product. Accordingly, I need my brand to stand out and be noticed...and make people want to know about my business. My target customers are new home builders, general construction company contractors and commercial builders. My main competitors are the traditional fiberglass installers".
Letterhead design - The simplicity of the logo creation was carried over into the stationery design (see above). With such vibrant colors, the graphic stands out, is clearly identifiable - everything the clients asked for. The business card design also featured a 'card back' - an extra print and graphic, further building brand recognition.
