About: Logo design for Storage Max - a storage company that leases large, storage space areas to customers who require storage that exceed the traditional "mini-storage" limitations. These spaces are 1000 square feet(25'x40')areas, with large(12'x14')overhead doors. Properties contain 30-150 units, and provide secure, keycard access. Logo signage will need to project to high-traffic areas like interstate highways.

Logo Brief: "Develop cartoon logo around character,named "Max" (w/sunglasses) that could be reproduced on hats or clothing. Logo must look good on large signage (ex. billboard). This logo is being designed in conjunction with another logo for a companion business (park 'n store) that The Logo Factory is also developing. Both logos need to be a compatible design that could coexist on the same signage."

When developing a logo for a retail outlet, it's critical that the logo be developed with all forseeable applications in mind. While the web is very forgiving for any type of design, the 'real world' has some very real requirements when it comes to the techical application of your logo. This is particularly true of logos that are developed for signage and other applications where more adventurous techinques can hinder usage.
