About: Logo design for Tim's Texas BBQ - San Diego area restaurant and catering service featuring Texas style barbecued beef brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage.
Logo Brief: For ease of name brand recognition, the owners of Tim's Texas BBQ opted for a text driven logotype. The logo design was also to be unique, yet simple enough to maximize it's univeral use - onsite signage as well as collateral materials such as menus, brochures, stationery and letterhead design. While primarily launched as a barbecue catering service, plans are underway for a a brick-and-mortar restaurant featuring fun atmosphere, lots of western artifacts, live music, pit-smoked barbecue, beer and more. The catering service will be targeted toward businesses and organizations for their corporate meetings and events.
