About: Logo design for Bark King - Specialty grounds keeping service that delivers and applies landscape materials (primarily bark and other mulches) for residential and commercial landscapes.
Logo Brief: A popular logo that was featured in our original website. Bark King's service is relatively new to the general public, so the client was looking for a landscaping logo that illustrated the service involved and could be marketed directly to homeowners and landscape contractors/developers. Bark King's competition offers (and is perceived by its customers) a bulk delivery service focused on volume. In contrast, our client wanted a logo that illustrated a more specialty service with "highly-trained technicians fully committed to earning a reputation for excellence."
"Our service is a specialty because products are delivered and applied by a skilled operator through the use of a pneumatic blower system: product is blown through a 4" hose. The result is a finished look that cannot be achieved through traditional application methods. The efficiency of this process requires less material, and of course substantially less labor, thereby making it a cost effective means of application for homeowners and landscapers alike." All of this was to be worked into a logo that was at home on stationery (below) as well as grounds keeping trucks and other equipment. You can view other popular logos in our gallery.
