About: Logo design for a startup marketing services provider. Affiliate tracking system provides business website owners with plug-n-play solutions for starting their own sales incentive program. Netffiliate also provide a networked system.
Logo Brief: Before we can make a logo, we need to get some information from the client. In terms of this project, we can take the goods right off the client's brief - "Our brand should convey that we run a marketing system but also has networking aspect. The artwork should strike a good balance between a clean, corporate logo and a cutting edge web look - a little contradictory but this is the true nature of our business. Our system is going to be marketed towards small to large online businesses who need to see a professional, business aspect in the brand. However, the software and it's interface are leading edge, hi-tech and web based - this also needs to be expressed.
I'd like to see one design with an emphasis on illustrating 'networking' in an abstract way. We want our new professional logo design to illustrate what Netffiliate is, rather than have some geometric shape that simply looks cool. And while I want it to be abstract to a small degree, any design you make should still be easily recognizable as to what it represents. No maps or globes, they are too generic and used quite a bit online. I also don't want any 'handshake' since Netffiliate's tracking system is more about networking programs and marketing rather than a one-to-one relationship." And that, in a nutshell, is the type of information we need to make a logo for any business or company type.
