About: Logo design & letterhead for Precision Racing Systems - manufacturer of gear related items for the radio control racing car industry.
Logo Brief: Precision Racing supplies hi-end, scientifically machined, pinion and spur gears and gear related items that are made available to the radio control racing car market through fairly aggressive marketing and sales show presence. These are not toys, but highly accurate and balanced gears that would be selected by the professional car racer, or racing car team. Being relatively new to the market, Precision Racing wanted us to create a logo and letterhead that appealed to the experienced racer, and outlined specifically what the company was about. The description of the product became an integral part of the logo, and was effectively used in the stationery design (letterhead, business card and envelope below).
Letterhead design - The Precision Racing logo was carried over into the stationery design (see above). Business card featured a front & back print as well as a four-sided bleed. Elements of the main logo were used as accent illustrations to create a more dynamic 'look and feel' than the usual stationery fare.
