About: Creating a logo for a restaurant often allows our designers to create illustrative logo design or in this case, a character logo design with a funky Mexican lobster, complete with Sombrero, Margarita Glass and other party accouterments. Includes letterhead artwork.

Logo Brief: The client wanted a logo, and a character, who reflected a 'party and holiday atmosphere'. The Kokobana brand originally began as a monkey logo, but later morphed in to the more appropriate lobster. After several renditions were nixxed, the client and the designer settled on this little fella. Accurate spot illustrations of local flowers were added as accents, and completed the look. In order to capture an informal theme, the fonts featured were mapped by hand, and the ribbon graphics were created from scratch.

All TLF mascot, character and cartoons are designed from scratch by in-house illustrators and are completely unique in the world of marketing.

Letterhead and stationery design - Due to the four color process nature of the logo, the business cards and letterheads of this project has the freedom of full-color, but required a restrained design sense in order to maximize the visual impact of the main logo and character. The large water mark gives the character even more prominence.
