About: Logo design for Australian Outback Themed children's restaurant and activity center.

Logo Brief: Over the years The Logo Factory has created many a logo design for restaurants, bistros and coffee shops, as well as dozens of animal logos, but it was a treat to design a logo for a new children's restaurant - Funtastic Freddy's Children's Restaurant and Activity center - featuring the highly illustrative kangaroo pictured above. The client brief was fairly straight forward - Funtastic Freddy's is an entertainment center and restaurant that will feature and engaging themed decor and a wide selection of ticket redemption games for the children. Unlike other 'themed' restaurants, our menu will based on high end quality food for today's adults with children including - high quality steaks, 1/3lb Black Angus burgers, pasta chicken dishes, gourmet pizza and full ice cream bar. Catering to birthday parties will be a large focus of our business, with special birthday activities, treats and giveaways".

Naturally, any restaurant specifically for children requires a central character, so our designers came up with a fun-loving kangaroo (no points for guessing his name) that will eventually be branched out into animatronics and live-person mascot suits that will wander staff around the restaurant in character.
