Logo Brief: Designing a logo for any medical company often requires a little more sensitivity from a designer. Due to the often serious nature of the themes involved, medical logos cannot be too 'wow', but instead need to be a little subdued, both in design elements and colors selected. However, just like businesses in any industry, medical logos are utilized to brand and market the company, so they still need to be eye-catching, and fairly indicative of what the company does.
Such is the case with the logo for Ez Health Care, a software development company. EZ Health Care develops health care based software for clinics, hospitals and other medical professionals. The Software products developed deal with scheduling, billing and other 'back office' functions. Despite being in business for over 15 years, and with over 1400 installations throughout the United States, EZ Health Care felt that they were still relatively unknown. To this end, they decided to start branding their company, and needed a new logo design as part of this makeover. Final brand features a heart and EKG graphic (see above).
