About: This logo design for Forensics Network - UK Based portal site for law enforcement officials and Crime Scene Investigators (CSI).

Logo Brief: We often say that a logo needs to be as custom as a fingerprint. Here's an example were that idea manifested itself quite literally into a custom logo featuring, well, yes - a fingerprint. Forensic networks wanted to avoid the 'nerdy' and/or 'geeky' stereotype for the logo for their new web site portal. Based in the UK, Forensics Network looked across the Atlantic Ocean to our design company for help after viewing our extensive custom logo design galleries.The client wanted a logo that had a scientific and professional look - but also a feel of excitement and mystery. With the recent success of crime scene and law enforcement shows on TV, forensics work was being viewed as intriguing and hopefully, this idea was to be conveyed by the design. Our designers came up with several different versions of the logo, before using a fairly standard law enforcement icon, albeit with a different take, and a unique custom font treatment.
