Toy logo - Teach Me Teddy (Teach Me Tracy)
Client: Interactive Toy Concepts
Design Category: Educational Toy, Toy Store
About: A pair of family logo designs for Teach Me Teddy Freddy and Teach Me Tracy, interactive talking doll and bear.
Logo Brief: One would think that the toy industry is a gentle industry, full of kid-loving folks who's only interest is playtime. Quite the opposite is true. The toy industry is a fiercely competitive, cutthroat business where toys are manufactured and marketed against the clock (often due to the fact that a competitor has already shipped a similar prototype off to Hong Kong for manufacture).

The Logo Factory has had quite a lot of experience developing professional logos, product packaging (and concepts) for toy manufacturers. The illustrative abilities of our staff make it a natural fit, and we're fast enough to bring work under sometimes seemingly unattainable deadlines. Case in point - these two logos for a pair of interactive toys, Teach Me Freddy and Teach Me Lisa. We developed both logos sight unseen, and a lot of our design elements found themselves actually being used in the product. The star logo artwork in both designs became the actual keys of the toy controllers, while the illustrator pattern fills our designers had developed became part of the voice cards included with the bear and doll products themselves.

Our designers actually had a hand in creating the 'look' of both Teddy and Lisa, as well as the heart logos that made up the shaped controller keyboard. The illustrations produced were also used in pre-sell sheets, developed while the product was still in production. For another bear logo, see Panda Ffireworks.
