About: A logo design for daycare center, specifically WeeOnes – a childcare center for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Logo Brief: WeeOnes is a childcare center situated in the state of Connecticut. When the client submitted the design project, they did not have a set in stone idea of how they visualized their logo. They mentioned in their project brief that they wanted a textual design that would appeal to children of all ages, not just infants. The designer took the clients limited ideas and put her mind to work coming up with concepts that gave off the feel of community, fun, warmth, and caring – designs that would be perceived as professional and not childish to the public eye. It was in the first batch of preliminary designs that the client chose the logo to which they eventually signed off on after a few rounds of minimal renders.
