In order to get the gray outline, we simply grabbed all artwork, grouped and copied it, and then pasted it behind the original doll and type. We then took the cloned artwork, joined it using the pathfinder, and then put a path around the new shape. Voila. A perfect outline around the doll and the lettering. 

If I get a chance in the next couple of days, I try and put together a few screen grabs to illustrate what I&#039;m blathering on about.</description>
