The Logo! Factor blog comment policy & TOS
All comments on The Logo Factory Inc. blog must be submitted with a proper or legitimate name and URL. Comments overly using keywords or spam URLs will be edited or deleted. At present, our blog comments feature a “nofollow” feature, so spamming us in the comment section is a waste of your time and ours.
E-mail privacy policies
E-mail addresses are required for commenting, but they are not published on the blog, nor shared with any party. We do not use e-mail addresses for marketing, lists or any form of unsolicited communication. We’ll only send you stuff if you ask us for stuff.
No personal information
Any and all personal information, such as physical addresses or phone numbers posted in any comment will be deleted as soon as possible to protect the privacy of the commenter or the subject of the comment. Never share any private information within any comment to The Logo Factory Inc. blog, whether it’s yours or somebody else’s.
The Logo Factory Inc. blog is, generally speaking, “family friendly” and comments which include inappropriate language, or considered by the blog owner and administrator to be rude and offensive, will be edited or deleted. As we’re not prudes, and have been guilty of using salty language from time to time, we’re a little flexible, but try to play nice. Having said that, we’ll also nuke comments that are racist, sexist, threatening or downright mean.
Off topic comments
Any comment that does not add to the conversation, is off-topic, is out of context, or kills the conversation may be edited, moved, or deleted.
Links in comments
If you want to link your site with your name, go ahead, we’re cool with that. However, The Logo Factory Inc. blog automatically holds any comment with more than two links in moderation for approval by an administrator. That may delay your comment from appearing on this blog until approved. Any blog comment with more than four links may also be marked as comment spam or deleted.
Links to other sites
Any links posted in comments, and outside TheLogoFactory.com domain are outside our jurisdiction and as such are presented “as is” and without warranty. We are not responsible for the content on ANY websites or webpages outside TheLogoFactory.com domain and linked to in any comment, nor are we responsible for the accuracy of such content. By allowing a link to another website outside our jurisdiction to stand in any comment, The Logo Factory Inc. is not expressing any opinion, one way or the other, regarding the validity or trustworthiness of the content on that website.
Comments on The Logo Factory Inc. blog will only be responded to via another blog comment. Generally speaking, representatives of The Logo Factory Inc. will not respond privately via email or other communication method to any comment posted to our blog. If you wish to speak privately with a representative of The Logo Factory Inc., or the author of a post, we suggest you use our contact form or the phone numbers supplied. Play nice principle
In the interest of fair play, no personal attacks are permitted in this blog’s comments. You may certainly question or argue the content, but not attack the author of any blog post, any other commenters or the subject of any post. Failure to respect fellow participants on this blog could result in removal and blocked access. Simply put, place nice.
Any comment that looks like spam will be marked as comment spam and/or deleted. This is a design blog, so if your comment pertains to design, logos or the post you’re commenting on, all will be very cool. Commenting on our blog is about the discussion. It isn’t about dropping links to your unrelated site.
