Let’s get it out of the way – the Google font is Catull. And that comes from the most reliable source imaginable – Ruth Kedar – the person behind the engine’s brand. The Google logo is arguably the most viewed corporate identity on the planet (personally, I’ve never been a big fan and might be tempted to argue that Google succeeded in spite of their logo, not due to it) and the font is often the subject of many ‘what font is this’ discussions on blogs and forums. Speaking of Google, and at the risk of revealing my geeky taste in movies, anyone remember Terminator? No, not the new series, the original stuff with Arnold as the menacing cyborg.
