Anyone familiar with Google‘s main search page will know that the company often replaces their ubiquitous font logo with a special design that commemorates a special event, person or holiday for the relevant day. Google maintains a website that catalogs the various themes, dating all the way back to 2000, when the tradition first started. [...]
According to news reports, Google has taken legal umbrage with Goojje, a Chinese language search and social-networking site whose logo (above) bears a striking resemblance to the design made famous by Big G. If that weren’t enough, the Goojje logo also features a paw print component, nicked from Baidu, China’s most popular native search engine. [...]
