Worrying about colors and your logo? Looking for some decent color combinations? Well, Adobe, in their quest to take over the web design segment (after buying out Macromedia – purveyors of Flash and Dreamweaver, it could be argued they’re almost there) also feature this nifty web based tool – Kuler. You can view various color themes and swatches and then download those swatches for use in your digital Photoshop or Illustrator creations. Sort of the thing Pantone Colors should have done, if they weren’t still trying to make the ‘leap’ into the Interwebs era.

There are some compatability issues with some platform and browser combos – for which an update is coming. Personally, Kuler ran fine on OS X running Firefox, but attempting to view through Safari left me hanging with a dark brown screen while I waited for a Flash 9 Player Installation (which Kuler needs to run) that never came. You can discuss Kuler at the Adobe forums here.

Tech gurus ZD Net also take a closer look at Kuler, one of the many RIA’s (Rich Internet Applications) that Adobe promises to add to upcoming editions of their CS design suites. One such offering is this BETA version of a free photoshop service
