Gonna have to fess up – posting on Logopalooza has been a bit light over these cold winter months. That’s because we’ve been feverishly putting the finishing touches to our brand new site and only now, that the light has finally appeared at the end of the tunnel, can we make some sort of announcement. Over the years, The Logo Factory web site has become a little on the ‘cluttered’ side as new features were bolted and duct-taped on.
This led to our navigation system getting a little wonky, and to be honest, not very easy to navigate. Truth to tell, even the gang at the studio had a hard time finding stuff that we were looking for (and we put it together!) A complete overhaul was planned over the fall and went into production just before the New Year. We’re at about 80% complete and hoping to launch the new site (that would be version 5.0) towards the end of February (all things being equal – which they rarely are). We’re planning several major new updates and features on our site including a brand spanking Flash animation theater & gallery, new artwork and design galleries, a regularly updated section where you can download Vector based versions of unused free logos and artwork, our store (finally open!) and a whole new set of tech tips, help features and logo design articles. Logopalooza itself will move to a brand new domain, while this space will become our logo design studio blog. Should be fairly exciting times around the studio. Watch this space for further announcements as we get closer to D-Day..
