Design for Peach Tree Books - Book Store (& more)

Peach Tree Books & Co is recognized as a leading retailer providing high quality gifts and collectables. The store provides a distinctive shopping experience from it varies lines such as Yankee Candle, Waterford Crystal and more. As Peach Tree positions themselves as “much more than a book store”, we deliberately stayed away from any book imagery, focusing instead on the name and the concept implied. As the logo was to be used in a myriad of applications, it needed to be simple and adaptable. The client wanted a ‘friendly’ logo, yet a design that was reflective of their ‘upscale’ marketing, especially considering some of the name brands that the store carries. Once the logo was created as a simple graphic, two colors (for ease of reproduction) were selected – one, peach and the other an olive green. The highlights on the peaches are screens of Pantone colors in order to retain the design’s spot color setup (see our technical articles for more detailed info on logo colors and setups).
