I'm worse than "not very good", hell I downright suck, but I got tired of strapping the training gear on before every flight so I figured what the heck. I gave it a go without them once and never looked back. Now, I'm actually learning how to fly the thing, instead of just wallowing around with an overloaded heli with a way too low CG. I was really surprised how much better my T-Rex flies without the "training balls" as my wife calls them, LOL. So much so was I surprised, that I really can't understand why anyone would advise anyone else to use them beyond perhaps the first two or three flights to make sure that everything was working properly and that they weren't hopeless. Maybe someday I can even manage to do something besides hover the thing tail in and right side up. ;) Oh come on, grow some sack.
