Cartoon logo for a Spam filtering service

Inbox Diet is a web-based email filter system that was designed to assist people with slimming down their bulky inboxes and eliminate spam through their ‘diet’ programs. The name of this service was aimed to take a play on those over the top diet services/companies.

The cartoon mascot logo that you see above is not the logo that the client ended up finalizing on, but is one of the concepts that the designer and client worked with during the design process. Initially when the design project was started, the designer and client tried the approach of a design depicting a mailbox with a measuring tape around it, but later on during the design process the client decided to change direction and wished to have a logo that incorporated the design of a monster-type character. However, towards the end of the project the client decided to turn away from both directions (previous and current) and stick with a concept they had come up with internally, except they had their designer tweak the concept and do some color variations before the client finalized.
