What a web 2.0 logo is. How to design one

Seen on the tubes – How to design for Web 2.0. Pay particular attention to points #8 and #10:

8-Glassy Surfaces. Maybe originally introduced by the Mac OS X Style. Most Web 2.0 logos and site designs use subtle 3D effects, sparingly, to enhance the qualitative feel of the design.

10-Reflections. I don’t know where the trends started, but Apple’s web site must have been one of the most influential, preceding their Aqua interface look & feel.

There. That about covers 2.0.
