We’re gonna try something a little different around the blog (the new server permits it and just in time for Christmas too). Over the years we’ve amassed a ton of unused design work. Some of it from rejected/abandoned client projects – known as our Morgue Files. Some of it from internal projects and promotions. And some artwork we’ve created just for the fun of it. Some of this work is very, very nice (but we simply can’t use it for anything else) and some of it is interesting from a technical or conceptual pov. Seemed a shame to have all this nice artwork sitting around collecting digital dust, so we’ve decided to release some of our archives into the wild with downloadable artwork (in editable and usable vector-based .PDF no less) from our blog. We’ll keep it pretty informal for a while (a new release or two every few days) and if there’s suitable interest, I’ll crank it up a notch and give away some free company logos. In terms of bandwidth, we’ll have to ‘cull’ the collection every once in a while, so check back often. As always, by doing something like this, we run the risk having someone ruin things for everybody else. So here’s a few basic rules about any Design Swag you download off our site -
All the stuff is copyright 2006 (soon to be 2007) The Logo Factory Inc.
Downloading of the image(s) does not constitute copyright transfer or the transfer of any intellectual property rights.

You may not sublicense, distribute, transfer or assign the image(s) or rights to the images(s) to any third parties. You may not use this image, or any part of the images(s), as part of a trademark, service mark, or logo. And that’s it (at least according to the legal beagles). And if you’re okey dokey with this, let’s get started. The first download is a series of animal themed avatars (see above) that were created for a now defunct forum. You can download the vector (illustrator) .pdf here.
