When we first started Logopalooza, we weren’t quite sure where it would lead. We knew that we didn’t want a ‘retail’ themed blog (“buy here, buy NOW!”) but we were pretty sure that it would be a blog dedicated to the art of logo design. It took us months to come up with the tagline “the art and business of logo design” after the blog evolved into a more practical and pragmatic look at the industry and subject matter. And now that we’ve got the momentum going, we’re going to up and move to our dedicated domain – Logopalooza.net (no point in clicking – there’s nothing there yet). We’re planning a major site update in the Fall/winter and that’s probably as good a time as any.

We want to further develop Logopalooza as an unbiased (as unbiased as we can get) look at logo design, the industry in general, logo review in specific, and that’s a little tougher to do while we still feature it on The Logo Factory web site. We’ll still have a logo blog devoted to The Logo Factory – studio news and what have you – but Logopalooza will become a premier site for ALL logo designers (rather than seeming like a blog that had an axe to grind – namely selling our services). The purpose for this post? In Internet parlance, it’s called ‘pimping a link’.

For logo design search engine goodness, natch.
